LSAT | The following three items are REQUIRED for admission to the test center:
Items Allowed in the Test RoomYou may bring into the test room a clear plastic ziplock bag (maximum size: 1 gallon/3.79 liters), which must be stored under your chair and may be accessed only during the break. The sealed ziplock bag may contain ONLY the following items:
All items must fit in the ziplock bag such that the bag can be sealed. Test takers are permitted to wear an analog (nondigital) wristwatch. (Timing devices of any other kind are not permitted.) Items Allowed on the DesktopTest takers may have ONLY the following items on the desktop:
Prohibited ItemsYou MAY NOT bring into the test center or use any of the following:
LSAC has adopted a no-tolerance policy with regard to the use or possession of electronic devices, including cell phones, or in possession of a weapon or firearm. TO SUMMARIZE: Item #1 to Bring on LSAT Test Day: Yourself. Item #2 to Bring on LSAT Test Day: Pencils, an eraser and a sharpener. Not #3, not #1, but good old #2 pencils. No mechanical pencils. Theres no need to go overboard and bring dozens of pencils to the LSAT, but its good to have a few so you know you wont find yourself running short, or having to pause to sharpen mid-section. You may want to bring one thats less than super-sharp for bubbling your LSAT answer sheet. Item #3 to Bring on LSAT Test Day: A snack and a drink. Not the alcoholic kind — thats for later. The drink needs to be in a plastic bottle or in a juice box. The snack should be packaged such that it doesnt make a mess all over your other stuff. Item #4 to Bring on LSAT Test Day: An analog wristwatch. No digital watches, no stopwatches, no pocket watches. Item #5 to Bring on LSAT Test Day: A clear Ziplock bag, max size one gallon. Its the only thing youre allowed to use to hold all of the above LSAT supplies. Item #1 NOT to Bring on LSAT Test Day: Your phone. Dont **** with LSAC. You will get kicked out of the LSAT test center for having your phone with you. Its not worth it. Item #2 NOT to Bring on LSAT Test Day: Anything you wear on your head. The only way you can get around this one is if its religious apparel. Giantology, Dodgerism, and the like are not valid religions. Item #3 NOT to Bring on LSAT Test Day: Earplugs. Theyre simply not allowed at the LSAT. Item #4 NOT to Bring on LSAT Test Day: Anything else thats not allowed.
